Ultra BUMMED by the Ultra Blast : Toy Story Ultra Blast Gauntlet
My 4 year ols son adores Buzz Light Year and asked relentlessly for the jet pack and ultra blaster to complete his buzz attire. Much to our dismay the $30.00 and $50.00 toys, respectively, cannot withstand childs play. We are on our 2nd set for each toy and are geting ready to go return the ultrablaster yet again (this time for a refund!)Mind you all winthin 72 hours of initial purchase!The jet pack's wings cannot withstand repeated opening and closing (yet this is the only function the toy has) and the ultrablaster's doors and hinged dart launcher has broken the same way x2. Now we are attempting to reason with a 4 year old to give up his most prized possession (of this week anyway) and exchange for a completely different toy. I am not a person that usually spends time reviewing toys but these toys were such a disappointment that I felt compelled to warn other parents. Maybe Matel needs to look at manufacturing more in the U.S. instead of paying a Chinese worker $1.00 per week to manufacture toys with substandard quality. BUYER BEWARE.
